About the Online Resource Library

The Partnership’s Online Resource Library is managed by Ingenta, a web-based database of professional and scholarly publications. The full Ingenta database includes 29,000+ publications and 18,000,000+ individual articles. A limited number of these are related to philanthropy, including The Journal of Gift Planning and the National Committee on Planned Giving Conference Proceedings. You can view all the publications included in the Ingenta database at www.ingentaconnect.com/content. Partnership members may use the Online Library link in the Members Only section of this site to gain direct access to Partnership content without going through a separate Ingenta registration procedure.

The Journal of Gift Planning: for most issues, three feature articles are added to the Ingenta database shortly after the Journal is published. Columns, departments and other regular features are not included in the database. Articles are available beginning with Vol. 4, No. 1 (2000).

National Committee on Planned Giving Conference Proceedings: selected papers from the conference proceedings are added to the Ingenta database one year after the conference. Only substantive papers are included in the database; outlines and slides are not included. Papers are available beginning with the 13th National Conference on Planned Giving (2000). All Partnership members have access to conference papers, including those who did not attend the conference.

Partnership members may search for Journal and conference articles in the Ingenta database and view and print the full text in PDF format at no charge. Non-members may also search the database and view abstracts of the articles, but they must pay a $20 fee to view the full text. Planned giving council members who are not Partnership members will have access to articles on a pay-per-view basis.
