RPTE
The
Real Property, Trust and Estate Section of
the American Bar Association
has created a database of diverse speakers
with expertise in the areas encompassed by
RPTE—real property, trusts, and estates.
The ABA definition of diversity includes
gender, religion, race, ethnicity,
national origin, sexual orientation, age,
and persons with disabilities. The goal is
to open speaking opportunities to
under-represented groups.
RPTE has invited PPP members with
significant experience in real property,
trust and estate law to be included in the
database. To apply, complete a short
questionnaire (web address below) and
attach a copy of your resume/biography
(including any past speaking experiences
and/or publications, if any) in WORD or
pdf format. It would be extremely helpful
if you identify which area(s) of real
property, trust and estate law you are
most qualified to speak about in the
following areas:
A. Real Property
1. Legal Education and Uniform Laws
2. Practice Management (Ethics,
Litigation, ADR)
3. Land Use and Environmental
4. Commercial Real Estate Transactions
5. Residential, Multifamily, Special Use
6. Leasing
7. Hospitality, Timesharing and Common
Interests Development
8. Real Estate Financing
9. Special Investors, Investment Structure
